Summary: "88 yr old mom w/ dementia & difficulty moving loves it the best"
I got a number of chair exercise DVD's for my mom over the last few years. She uses them daily, but this one is consistently her favorite. Besides liking the movement, she mentions that the music is soothing. I'm getting my 88 year old Dad (who can still walk but has very weak legs) started with it now too. He was resistant. But he tried it once, and found to his surprise, that after 5 minutes (all he could do the first time) he felt great. It was nice to see him go from skepticism to trust over the 5 minutes, as he followed along. He wants to do it regularly too now.

Summary: "Excellent All Encompassing Workout For Seniors and Chairbound People"
Bob Klein's DVD gets a five star from me. While I admit he is stoic and quiet, his workout is well thought-out covering every area of the body with stretching and joint mobility. EXCELLENT FOR SENIORS OR JUST OFFICE SITTERS. Too much sitting in our society!!
I've done this routine for two months with outstanding results, especially for my neck and shoulders and general flexibility. You feel so good when you are done, relaxed and mobile. Every joint imaginable, from neck and shoulders, to hips, knees, ankles and feet, all are moved and flexed. He doesn't miss a thing. When you have done this for a while, you can pull your knees and legs up against your chest comfortably (if health permits) and do the neck and shoulders without any crackling or popping. Mine all left!!! He does not forget fingers, or wrists either.
So what if he's quiet!? I don't want any DVD's with sexy little blonds who are 25 yrs. old and don't have any idea what it means to be stiff, or hindered by FM or any other debilitating illness.
If you want a good complete routine to do that is relaxing, invigorating, plus, increasing your flexibility and mobility GREATLY, I highly recommend Bob Klein and Chair Exercises for Seniors.

Summary: "Not a good choice for women."
I regret this purchase. There is one person shown doing the exercises. I have found it easier to follow group movements. The type of chair he is using with arms is not very common for most of my friends. Finally I could not get pass Bob Klein's legs in the short pants.

Summary: "Good Seated Exercises."
Good Sitting Exercise DVD. Mom likes this DVD it is not difficult to perform the exercises. Very easy to do and he does them slow enough for everyone to keep up with.
The exercises are done at a good pace, slow enough to follow, but fast enough to make you work. All the exercises are performed sitting.
Its a little outdated but the exercises are good and that is all what matters.

I purchased this DVD for my mom. I wanted to get her a Chair Exercises DVD that she could do but wouldn't have her jumping around and standing. I found Chair Aerobics for everyone and got it.
This is a Good chair exercises dvd, has simple basic easy exercises.
Mom can comfortably do these chair exercises. Recomended.
