Krause's Food & Nutrition Therapy
"I very seldom post reviews for products but I will make an exception here. I bought my first edition of Krause's Food and Nutrition Therapy while attending Penn State University in the early 80's and have updated a couple of times since. Nutrition has become highly specialized and it is next to imposible for any one person to be an expert in all aspects of nutrition therapy. Over the years, I have referred to this text more times than I can count because it is considered "the gold standard" among nutrition texts. I can't imagine a dietitian not having Krause's Food and Nutrition Therapy on her/his shelf."

Krause's new edition is a great way to learn and reference food & nutrition therapy. This is a comprehensive, easy to read, but thorough piece of literature essential for all nutrition experts in the medical field. Without this book, finishing my collegiate studies and becoming a well-rounded professional would be impossible. With this book, the medical world becomes understandable and clearly essential for nutritionists and dietitians to be a part of. Anyone considering this book as an addition to their library, or a textbook would not be disappointed with purchasing it.
